Preference is given in the light of evidences of Sharia, not to raise hands other than in Thakbeer e Thahreema while performing Salath.
The reason behind this is that in the outset, Rasoolullahi Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam used to raise hands and, as and when the orders of observing tranquility in Namaz descended raising hands in Namaz too was abandoned to the extent that during the last stages of life of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, such Namaz too are established where he didn’t perform Raf’a Yadain at all, except in Thkbeer e Thahreema. And there are some instances where prohibition of Raf’a Yadain too is recorded. Therefore, it is not correct for the concerned person of Hanafi School of Thought to do Raf’a Yadain in spite of having strong evidence to omit Raf’a Yadain irrespective of Fardh or Nafl Salath. Hence, it is necessary for the concerned person to refrain from his practice and act, in the light of Hadees e Mubaraka according to the Hanafi School of Thought. Some reference of Hadees are given hereunder.
