What is the ruling if a person masturbates while Fasting? Does he have to observe only that Fasting again or does he have to pay any expiation (Kaffara)?

Masturbation (self enjoyment) is an evil and a prohibited act. Strict warnings are recorded in Ahaadees e Mubaraka about it. Whereas whilst in the status of observing Fasting, the evilness and enormity is still more aggravated hence, it is necessary to refrain from this evil act at all cost. However, the Fasting becomes invalid by ejaculation as a result of masturbation and Qadha of the Fasting would be obligatory and not Kaffara.
