Ambiya are buried where they pass away

Question:

Is this Hadith authentic?

“Allah does not take [the life of] a Prophet except at the location in which He wants him to be buried.” (Tirmidhi 1018)

Answer:

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) and has declared it weak (gharib).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1018)

The Hadith is corroborated as Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has also noted, and is suitable to quote.
