Wear white clothing and enshroud your deceased in white

Please translate the following:

البسوا من ثيابكم البياض فإنها خير ثيابكم وكفنوا فيها موتاكم

Answer

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Wear white clothing, for they are the best of clothes, and enshroud your deceased in them”

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 994 and Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 3874. Declared authentic by Imam Tirmidhi)
