Warning against usurping the wealth of a Muslim using false oaths

Is this narration authentic?

من اقتطع مال امرئ مسلم بيمين كاذبة كانت نكتة سوداء في قلبه لا يغيرها شيء إلى يوم القيامة

Answer

Imams Hakim and Tabarani (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Ka’b ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 4 pg. 294,  Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 801. Also see: Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 7445)

Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) concurs.

Translation

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever usurps the wealth of a Muslim, by taking a false oath, a black mark/spot appears on his heart, nothing will alter/remove this mark until the Day of Qiyamah.”

‘Allamah Munawi (rahimahullah) states, “If Allah chooses not to forgive him in the Hereafter, he will be entered into Jahannam, until that spot clears up and then only will he be granted entry into Jannah.”

(Faydul Qadir, Hadith: 2978)
