Fruit from a unique tree in Jannah for those who send abundant salutations (durud)

What is the authenticity of this Hadith?

Answer

I have not come across this in any Hadith source nor have I come across the chain.

This narration is cited in certain non primary Hadith sources as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Refer: Nuzhatul Majalis, pg. 356 and Al Hawi of ‘Allamah Suyuti, vol. 2 pg. 48)

The narration needs further verification.

Translation

Allah Ta’ala has created a tree in Jannah, its fruits are bigger than an apple but smaller than a pomegranate, softer than butter and sweeter than honey, more fragrant than musk. The branches are of fresh pearls, the trunk is from gold and the leaves are of chrysolite. Only those who sent abundant salutations (durud) on Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) will get to eat from this tree.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
