‘Amir ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Az-Zubayr would recite verse 13 of Surah Ra’d when hearing thunder.

This narration is recorded in the Muwatta of Imam Malik. The full narration is as follows:
‘Amir ibn Abdillah, [The son of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Zubayr radiyallahu ‘anhu] when hearing thunder would recite
سبحان الذي يُسَبِّحُ الرعدُ بحمدِهِ والملائكةُ من خِيفَتِه
He would then say, “This is a severe warning for the inhabitants of the Earth”
(Muwatta Imam Malik, Hadith: 2839, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 29824 and Al Adabul Mufrad, Hadith: 723)
‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) has declared the chain authentic.
