Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) prophecy regarding the conquest of the Persians

I would like to know the reference for the following Hadith:

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“When my Ummah walks proudly/struts about and their servants are the children of kings; children of Persians and Romans, the worst of them will be given authority over the best of them.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic.

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2261, Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 6716 with slight variation in the wording)

The Hadith commentators explain that this was a miracle of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) as he prophecised what will happen. After the Muslims conquered the Persians and Romans and enslaved them, Allah Ta’ala allowed the murderers of Sayyiduna ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu) to succeed in their mission.

(Refer: Mirqatul Mafatih, Hadith: 5363 and Tuhfatul Ahwadhi, 2261)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
