Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) prophecy regarding the murder of ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

Is this narration reliable?

ذكر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فتنة فقال: يقتل هذا فيها مظلوما لعثمان

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). He has declared the Hadith sound (hasanun gharib).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3708)

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was once mentioned a great trial/tribulation to come. He then said, ‘This person i.e. ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu) will be slain oppressively in that trial.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
