Can this Hadith be quoted?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Learn about your family lineage and roots so that you may join family ties, for family ties brings love in the family, increases one’s wealth and brings barakah to/increases one’s life”
Answer
Imams Tirmidhi, Ahmad and Hakim (rahimahumullah) have recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). Imam Hakim has declared the Hadith authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi concurs.
