Could you verify this narration?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“It is not allowed for a woman who believes in Allah to place her private part on a saddle”
Answer
The Muhaddithun have declared this Hadith a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.
(Refer: Al Asrarul Marfu’ah, pg. 392 and Al Masnu’, Hadith: 451)
Note: The Fuqaha who opine that it is reprehensible (makruh) for women to ride horses have cited various other reasons and proofs to substantiate this. I have merely answered your question regrading the authenticity of the Hadith. This should therefore not be viewed as a Fiqh ruling.
