Answer

This narration is recorded in Musnad Ahmad and Musnad Bazzar on the authority of Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 391, Musnad Bazzar; Al Bahruz Zakkhar, Hadith: 2854)

‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) has graded the chain of Musnad Ahmad sound (bi isnadin la ba’sa bihi) and ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) states that the narrators have declared credible.

(Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 85, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 2 pg. 324 and vol. 3 pg. 183)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
