Could you mention the reference for the Hadith wherein Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
‘Vinegar is an excellent gravy’

Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyidah ‘Aaishah and Sayyiduna Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).
Sayyiduna Jabir’s version states that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) once requested one of his wives for some gravy. She replied, ‘We only have vinegar’, to which Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Vinegar is an excellent gravy’
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2051, 2052)
