What is the authenticity of the following narration?
“When Allah wishes to reveal a command that entails kindness/gentleness, he reveals it in Persian and when he wants to reveal a command that entails severity/harshness he reveals it in Arabic”
Answer:
Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Abu Umamah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with an extremely weak chain. Ibn Himmat Ad Dimashqi (rahimahullah) has declared this Hadith a fabrication.
