Do not rejoice over the misfortune of a Believer

Can you provide the Hadith about not rejoicing over the misfortune of another Muslim?

Answer

Sayyiduna Wathilah ibn Al Asqa’ (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Do not rejoice over the misfortune of your brother, lest Allah has mercy on him and subjects you to trials”

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2506. Declared sound by Imam Tirmidhi)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
