Shariah distribution of property

Assalaam waalaikum,

Curious to know answers for below questions :

1) My Grandfather deceased 29 years ago and he left some property
what is the ratio of division to 1) married son 2) married daughter 3) grand son and grand daughter when son is deceased

2) My Grandmother deceased 20 years ago and she left some property
what is the ratio of division to 1) married son 2) married daughter 3) grand son and grand daughter when son is deceased

2) My unmarried Maternal Uncle, deceased 20 years ago and he left some property
what is the ratio of division to 1) married brother 2) married sister 3) nephew and niece when brother is deceased

Answer

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

1,2) In both these instances, the son gets two thirds, the daughter gets one third, and the grand children do not get anything.

3) The brother gets two thirds, the sister gets one third, and the nephews and nieces do not receive anything.
