What do if I do if there’s still traces of impurity after lots of istinja? When I got to the bathroom I’ll pour water over the impurity and wash there, but after I’m done there will still be these small brown traces. I don’t know what they are but I’m guessing it’s impure. As a result it takes me from 15-45 minutes I’d say using the bathroom. I really need help with this because school is starting soon and the bathroom breaks aren’t long enough to stay in the bathroom that long to make sure these small brown traces are fully removed from me. It’s stressful because even my parent gets mad at me for staying long in the bathroom and I use too much tissue and water. I’m confused because at home and school most people spend at the most 5 minutes in the bathroom so I wonder how they clean themselves so fast when it takes me so long. When I’m done making istinja the actual urine or feces will be removed its just these unusual small brown traces that tend to be there and take a while to remove. It also makes me stressed to use the bathroom in public because I know I’ll take too long. I saw an opinion on another Islamic website that said if the impurity is difficult to remove then it’s fine to leave it. Is this opinion valid? It’s not like I’m my wiping myself correctly because I use way more tissue and water than everyone in the house. And I know I’m not having waswas because I see the brown trace impurity on the tissue with my own eyes so I know it’s not shaytan telling me there’s impurity there when there’s really not. It causes me such hardship sometimes to go to the bathroom so please help, would it be okay for me to just make sure the actual urine/feces are removed from me and leave these small brown traces?
Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
You should wipe the portion where there is impurity maximum 7 times, and thereafter wash that area properly for a maximum of 7 times. You will then be regarded as clean, and do not have to be concerned about any traces which you may still see.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
