If someone has 2 wives, will his children from his first wife be mahram for the children of his second wife who were born from a previous marriage?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

No, the children from his first wife will not be mahrams for the children of his second wife who were born from a previous marriage.

في الدر المختار: وأما بنت زوجة أبيه أو ابنه فحلال ؛ وقال ابن عابدين: ( قوله : وأما بنت زوجة أبيه أو ابنه فحلال ) وكذا بنت ابنها، بحر. قال الخير الرملي: ولا تحرم بنت زوج الأم ولا أمه ولا أم زوجة الأب ولا بنتها ولا أم زوجة الابن ولا بنتها ولا زوجة الربيب ولا زوجة الراب ا هـ ( رد المحتار: 3/31 سعيد )
