Sperm after ghusl

After the ejaculation of semen and before doing the ghusl, if the person had slept, urinated or done quite a bit of walking (40 steps or more) then he does not have to repeat the ghusl if he sees drops of semen on his private part after the ghusl. He should merely wash away the drops of semen. Yes, his wudu will break due to the coming out of semen; therefore, he should renew his wudu when he intends to offer salat.

On the other hand, if after the ejaculation of semen and before doing the ghusl, the person did not sleep, urinate or do quite a bit of walking then he will have to repeat the ghusl if he sees drops of semen on his private part after the ghusl.

وكذا لو خرج منه بقية المني بعد الغسل قبل النوم أو البول أو المشي الكثير، نهر. أي لا بعده لأن النوم والبول والمشي يقطع مادة الزائل عن مكانه بشهوة فيكون الثاني زائلا عن مكانه بلا شهوة فلا يجب الغسل اتفاقا، زيلعي.  وأطلق المشي كثير وقيده في المجتبى بالكثير وهو أوجه لأن الخطوة والخطوتين لا يكون منهما ذلك، حلية وبحر. قال المقدسي وفي خاطري أنه عين له أربعون خطوة فلينظر ا هـ ( رد المحتار: 2/327 دار المعرفة )

في نور الإيضاح: ينقض الوضوء اثنا عشر شيئا: ما خرج من السبيلين إلا ريح القبل في الأصح الخ ؛ وفي الشرح: كالبول والغائط والدودة والحصاة والمني والمذي والودي والحيض والاستحاضة والنفاس الخ ( إمداد الفتاح: ص 84 )
