Q: Is this the only particular dress in Islam for men prescribed by Indian Madaaris?

A: This dress also conforms to the Sunnah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن سلمة بن الأكوع قال : قلت : يا رسول الله إني رجل أصيد أفأصلي في القميص الواحد ؟ قال : نعم وازرره ولو بشوكة ” . رواه أبو داود و روى النسائي نحوه (مشكاة #760)
