Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatulla,1) i am working in dubai, sometime when i stand for any salah someboby touch me and inform me that he is following me or it convert into jamaat. but i confused that i made only self niyat for sunnat how come they follow me as a fard namaaz. can you plz tell me what is masail under this type of circumstance.2)i came to know from mufti ibrahim desai sb that making istemayee dua after salah is bida’ but i saw in every hanafi masjid. 3)here in dubai imaam shafi maslak they pray asar awwal waqt, as a hanafi can i follow them or i will pray alone after the exact time as per hanafi. (Fatwa: 1235/1145=L/1429)
(1) According to the Hanfi Fiqh, it is not permissible to perform obligatory salah behind a person performing nafl salah, but other Imams allow it, so he probably prays behind you while acting upon the opinion of those Imams.
(2) You should send his fatwa in his own words, then you will be replied, ins-sha-Allah.
(3) You should perform salah of Asr alone as per the Hanfi Fiqh.
