Did Prophet Muhammad & Sahabah pray Hanafi without raising hands?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a Hanafi follower. Some of my friends told that many hadith say that the holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH performed namaz by raising hands before ruku and before sajdah. I do not know whether they are saying correct or not. Can you please provide proof that Hanafi namaz (without raising hands before ruku and sajdah) is performed by the holy Prophet Muhammad PUBH and sahabah so that I can give them the proof.

It is proved by hadith that the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) raised his hands before ruku and sajdah but later on he gave up this practice (rafa yadain) and he raised his hands only at the time of takbir tahrima. That is why the great Sahaba like Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Masood (رضى الله عنه) Hadhrat Ibn Abbas (رضى الله عنه) and the Khulafa-e-Rashidin etc used to raise their hands only at the time of takbir tahrima. It is mentioned in Badaya al-Sanayah:
It has been discussed with more details in E’la al-Sunan, Jame al-Masanid etc.
