Q: Some people are of the opinion that to take the names of the guided khulafaa in the second khutba is bidat. Is this correct?
A: This is incorrect.To take the names of these great companions of Nabi (sallallahu alayhe wasalam) is mustahab. Abu moosa ashari (radiallahu anhu) used to take their names and praised them in the khutba while other sahaba were present. (Fatwa Raheemiyah)
