Following Istikharah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by CouncilofUlama.co.za

Q: I wanted to find out if you have read istikarah and got a positive result. But a person did not yet go ahead with the decision. Can the situation or istikarah change?

A: Istikhara is seeking guidence and council from the Almighty, one is not bound to follow the intuition received post istikhara, and should also seek advice from experienced persons and weigh ones options carefully before taking any decision. Yes conditions can chance a while after istikhara hence hence one should have your finger on the pulse of every situation and condition before making any decision.

And Allah Knows Best
