Q: Father passed away leaving wife, 2 sons and 4 daughters. can you please tell me how much money each will receive if we sell property for two hundred thousand pounds?
A: The division of the above mentioned estate will be as follows:
The wife will receive 25,000 pounds (which is 12.5%); Each son will receive 43,750 pounds, and each daughter will receive 21,875 pounds. According to Shariah, sons must get double the share of daughters
