Inheritance for Two Sons and Five Daughters

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askmufti.co.za

Q: Bakar has left behind a property of R3,300,000 for his two sons and five daughters. What is the share for each?

A: 2 sons = 4 shares
5 daughters = 5 shares

Total shares in estate: 9

R3,300,000 divide by 9 shares = R366,666.66 per share
Each son gets R366,666,66 X 2 = R733,333.32
Each daughter gets R366,666.66
