My Question is My self & My Frns went out for Marriage ,one place to another by train, the distance was around 550 km,as we begin our journey by evening 7:30pm from Home we reached Railway station, its time for Esha Namaz( 8:15PM) ,i was Imam to Lead Esha Namaz ,we all had an confusion wheather to perform 4 Rakaths or 2,since we just begin our journey & we did not cross 88 km,finally we performed 2 Rakath, pls clarify whether our salah was Valid or Not.

I am very sad to say one of Neighbor got suicide by drinking Poison, I don’t know much about him & his Family, just two days Before he got suicide I met him after eisha namaz
As it was our Gasht amal, I spoke to him about Necessity of Deen In our Life, told things which we should undergo in Grave(kabar) & How Allah subhanawa tha aala Loves Us,
He was Much Excited, I made a thashkeel for 3days Jamath as our districts Ijthemaaths were Going on, He Gave His name to us we recorded in our book(names of persons who are ready to in the way of Allah(Jamath),But unfortunatlly we Heard He Got Suicide,
May Allah forgive Him & show His Mercy On Him,
My question is is He Can Get Maghfirath?, & what would be the decision of Allah on Him,
Where the souls of suicide persons will go will it be in the aalame Barzaq. Waiting for ur reply , jazakallaah
In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh
If a person intends to travel a journey of 48 shar῾i miles or more, he will be a musāfir and will have to make qasr (perform 2 rakāts in Zuhr, Asr ,Esha salāts) after leaving the housing area of his town.
If the Railway station is located outside your town, then your salah is valid otherwise you have to repeat your salāh.

Committing suicide is a great sin and there is severe punishment for one that commits such an act. However, if he died with Eemān , then there is a hope that Allah jalla jalāluhu will forgive him because everlasting punishment is only for kuffār.

After death, the soul rest in Barzakh, if it is a good soul, it rests in Elliyīn and if it is a bad soul, it rests in Sijjīn.
