I am talking of the situation when on goes to seea girl for the first time.(When intending to marry ) it is everymans desire taht he gets a nice wife, both spiritually and physically. I know its not allowed to look at women, but how is a man to know the physic of the women(it is difficult to tell wen they are in hijab) In this case, is it permissible to look at her?
Answer
It is permissible to look at a girl’s face with the intention of marrying her.
It is obvious for the girl to remove her veil if arrangements has been made for a boy to see a girl as a prospective marriage partner.
