Q: 1. What is the correct use of Fitra funds in Sharia? 2. Is it advisable to use Fitra funds for Jamat khana improvement, say, in a poor community that has contributed these funds?
A: The use of Fitrah is the same as Zakaah; it has to be given to the needy.
It cannot be used for the Jamaat Khaana improvement.
