Question

How many sajdahs are there in Sajdah Tilaawat? One sajdah for tilawah and one for simaa, or one for both?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Sajdah tilawah is obligatory and it is one sajdah (prostration) whether it was heard or recited.
