Is it allowed to hold the Qura’an in my hands and read from it in any nafal prayer?

Answer:

According to the Hanafi Madhab, it is Makrooh to hold the Qur’aan in any Salaat including Nafl Salaat and read from the Qur’aan. (Fataawa Hindiyyah, Raddul Muhtaar, Fataawa Rahimiyyah vol.9 pg.288-289, Maraaqiul Falah pg.187)
