Answer

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whoever controls his anger in spite of having the ability to take revenge, Allah Ta’ala will call him in front of the entire creation on the day of Qiyamah and Allah will give him the choice of choosing the maidens of paradi thatse he desires.”

In order to get this huge reward, and all the other rewards mentioned in other narrations, a person should control his anger each and every time that he is provoked. He will have to be tolerant and maintain his anger every time that someone angers him.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
