Answer

If one has left his native place with his wife, children and goods intending not to return there as a resident, then he should perform two Rak?aats if he travels (more than 88 km) to that place, intending to stay there for less than fifteen days. On the contrary, if his wife, children and goods are left in his native place or he has moved out with them but has the intention of returning as a resident, then he should perform full four Rak?aats on travelling there.
