Can Qurbani be done on the 13th of Zul-Hijjah? Until what time can one do Qurbani?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by TheMufti.com

Q. On Friday 1st September, Saturday 2nd September and Sunday 3rd September 2017, we slaughtered our Qurbani animals but we left one animal to slaughter on the last day. Today is Monday 4th of September 2017. Can we slaughter our last animal Today, seeing that people cannot fast Today and the Takbeer-e-Tashreeq ends Today?

A. The days of Takbeer-e-Tashreeq are five, commencing on the Fajr of the 9th of Zul-Hijjah (31th of August 2017-Thursday) and ending at Asr of the 13th of Zul-Hijjah (4th September 2017-Monday).

The prohibited days of fasting are five; The day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the day of Eid-ul-Adha (10th of Zul-Hijjah-1st of September 2017-Friday), and three days after Eid-ul-Adha i.e. 11th, 12th and 13th of Zul-Hijjah. (2nd, 3rd and 4th of September 2017-Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

The days of Slaughtering (Ayyamun-Nahr) are three, commencing on the Morning after Eid Salaah on the 10th of Zul-Hijjah (1st of September 2017-Friday) and ending at Maghrib time of the 12th of Zul-Hijjah (3rd September 2017-Sunday).

Accordingly, it will not be permissible to slaughter an Udhiyyah/Qurbani animal on the 13th of Zul-Hijjah (4th of September 2017-Monday) as the days of slaughtering have already lapsed. Any outstanding Udhiyyah/Qurbani will have to be compensated by giving the value of the animal in charity.
