Q: How can we inculcate Islamic values in our child (as a teacher or mother) and how to preserve it in them?
A: Conduct daily ta`leem in the home and explain the contents of what has been read to the children. Impart to them good morals and aspects of character and akhlaaq. Perform your namaaz on time and instruct them to do the same. Don’t allow them to view the television or anything that is haraam and impermissible. Instil in them the habit of making du`aa, reciting the Qur’aan and making zikr. Also as a parent, make du`aa for their guidance.
