What is the basis of the method of car renting adopted in Islamic Banks nowadays? Can an example of this be found in the era of the noble companionsؓ of the Holy Prophetﷺ?

Shar’i (Islamic) principles are usually what is taken into consideration when it comes to the method of renting cars adopted in Islamic Banks. These principles have been established from the Holy Prophet and his noble companions.
