    Question: Assalamualaikum   I have a personal question that i am asking on behalf of someone I know   basically the person in question was far from ALLAH for a long time and during the month of Ramadan he kept fasts but was in the evil habit of masturbating during the time of fasting. He has since repented and is on the siraat mustaqeem but is worried about the past. Perhaps over the years in total 15 Fardh fasts have been spent shamefully in this manner. So what does this person have to do to make up for these past sins? Note: all this was done whilst the person was above the age of puberty.   Jazakallah
