Non Aalim begining a bayaan with a khutbah

Q: Is it correct for a non Aalim to begin a bayaan with a khutbah quoting Quran and hadith?

Bismillaah

A: Though it is permissible, but it is better for a non-aalim not to pretend to be an aalim.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
