Safe to eat halal in China with fake stamps & improper slaughtering in Xingjiang?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a student in China. I have a very big trouble here with halal products. I have heard from an Indian friend (Deobandi and Masha-Allah nice person) that a product with halal stamp is alright to consume according to Deoband. But the question is that here in China we can’t trust them. Even if they have halal stamps. The reasons are as follows: 1. Chicken with fake halal stamps have been found by police in many cases. Chinese people are caught preparing fake halal chicken.
2. On the other hand, there are many Muslims who distribute halal chicken. These Muslims are mostly from Province Xingjiang and we can trust them. 3. However, these Xingjiani people, sometime, don’t cut the throat properly. The marks of knife on the neck provide less evidence for halal zabiha. But this happens sometimes and can be seen only when we buy a full chicken. Usually the throat is cut according to halal way. But here the problem is that most of the time we buy chicken legs, or chicken breast. And we don’t have any knowledge of zabiha as the packets contain only legs and some packets contain only breast pieces. What should I do? Should I consume it or not? Please guide me. If my question isn’t clear, please ask me, I will explain clearly.

One should avoid eating the packaged chicken and other meat prepared in non-Muslim countries or imported from there, though it carries the stamp of halal. As the halal stamp is not reliable in any way. There is a committee that consists of Saudi Arabian Ulama and Muftis who have researched on this topic and have reached to a conclusion that the label printed on the packet as ‘Halal’ or ‘slaughtered as per the Islamic method’ etc is not reliable. (See Fiqhi Maqalat) Hence you should avoid such chickens and meats completely.
