What is the ruling or the details pertaining to Mehdi (A.S) in the Fiqh-e-Hanafi?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
What is the ruling or the details pertaining to Mehdi (A.S) in the Fiqh-e-Hanafi? Is he expected to arrive or has he come and gone, as observed by the Mehdvia community? (India)
The coming of Mehdi is proven. Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah acknowledge this. It is also acknowledged in the Hanafi school of jurisprudence, that he will come during the final days of this world, the same time or era that Eesa (Alaihe salaam) will descend. They will both come in the same era. Dajjal will be killed. If Dajjal does not come, nor does Eesa (Alaihe salaam), then neither will Mehdi (alaihe salaam), because all three have been mentioned to come at the same time. For this reason it is completely false that Mehdi (Alaihe salaam) has come and already left. People who say this are ignorant and have been led astray.
