Do I have to make up prayers if I notice dried emission on my underwear?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Assalamu ‘alaykum

In college, I read Dhuhr, ‘Asr and Maghrib with the wudhu for Fajr. Sometimes, when I get home and change, I notice dried emission on my underwear (which is most likely Madhi), which I didn’t know had been emitted or when it was emitted. So do I have to do wudhu again and repeat all the prayers (Dhuhr, ‘Asr and Maghrib) again?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

In such situations, one assumes that the dried emission resulted after the prayer, because of the established fiqh principle that, “Events are ascribed to the nearest possible times.” [ Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah ; Ibn Nujaym, al-Ashbah ]

And Allah alone gives success.

Faraz Rabbani
