Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

We have a cat that has the habit of sitting in front of us, rubbing against us, or sits on our lap when we make salat. Someone told me that cat hair is najis- is this true and must we re-do our salat?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
