Girl masturbating while fasting

Q: A girl didn’t know that having intercourse pleasure by doing it herself (without anyone else) is not allowed while fasting in Ramadhaan so she did it by mistake while she was fasting in Ramadhaan. Now what is her kaffaara?

Bismillaah

A: She should sincerely repent to Allah Ta’ala for the sin she committed and make a firm resolve that she will not repeat this sin again. She should make qaza for the broken fast.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
