Is it a sin to have voted for the P.T.A. in 2018, given allegations against the prime minister’s past?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
I voted for the P.T.A in 2018. Some of my tablighi friends said that I have committed a sin because the present prime minister married during his wife’s waiting period, and that that is a major sin and I have become part of it. But Imran Khan’s spokesperson clarified that the marriage happened 6 months afterwards. This is also what the previous husband is saying. I am very depressed about this. Please guide me.

If the previous husband of Imran Khan’s present wife and Imran Khan’s spokesman has both clarified that the marriage took place 6 months after divorce, then to oppose of their marriage despite of that is illogical. Also, the one the questioner has voted for is like his advocate after the election. Whatever good or bad he does, the questioner will equally be a part of it.
