What is the amount of money that can be retained from collections by the person appointed to collect contributions?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
Assalamu Alaikum! How much money can be retained from the collections after receiving them by a person who is appointed to collect contributions?

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

It is not only impermissible at all, for one who takes contributions for any Madrasah to collect some amount personally for himself from the contributions, but also it is Na Ja’iz (invalid) according to the Shari’a since it is based on betrayal and deception and it is essential to refrain from it. However, the best method is that the owners and the administrators of the concerned organization fix a salary for such persons, or else it is possible to fix an amount based on a certain percentage of the collected contributions as salary.
