Which person should be appointed to call out the Azaan?

Q: Can a person wearing shirt and pants be put forward to give the azan on a regular basis, in a masjid where there are other people in Sunnat dressing? 

Bismillaah

A: It is preferable that people with sunnat dressing be appointed as muazzins.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ثم اعلم أنه ذكر في الحاوي القدسي من سنن المؤذن كونه رجلا عاقلا صالحا عالما بالسنن والأوقات مواظبا عليه محتسبا ثقة متطهرا مستقبلا وذكر نحوه في الإمداد (رد المحتار 1/393)
