Permissible to recite Sura e Ankabooth and Sura e Room and distribute on sweets during Ramadhan?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria
Assalamu Alaikum Mufthi Sahib,
There is a practice here in Bannu during Ramadhan. After the Ifthar of 22nd Ramadhan people recite Sura e Ankabooth and Sura e Room on sweets and distribute in mosques and houses. And on the 26th Ramadhan people cook rice and then distribute among the relatives etc Is it correct according to the Shariah and is it among the Sunnah. Please reply soon.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful
The referred practice is not Sunnah, rather, it is just a tradition which has no evidence or connection what so ever with the famous Qurun e Salasa (Three Eras) which witnessed all the Khair (goodness). Hence it is essential to refrain from indulging in such practices considering them to be necessary or to confine the rewards peculiar to this tradition.
Allah knows best.
