Will one be rewarded for worship done without making intention?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Jamia Binoria

Will one be rewarded for worship done without making intention or not? Such as resting in the afternoon (Qailula), having a Halal livelihood etc. before which one doesn’t make any sought of intention.

الجواب حامدا و مصلیا

Those permissible actions that are not classifies as worship (such as having a Halal livelihood, eating, drinking, sleeping etc.), if done for the sake of achieving nearness (قربت) to Allah (e.g. eating food with the intention that one will gain strength to perform acts of worship), then one will be rewarded for them, otherwise there is no reward for them.
And Allah knows Best.
