A boy whose age is between 14 to 15 years is staying in the Madrasa attached to the Masjid for almost for the past three months. Earlier the Muazzin Sahib used to conduct the Namaz in the absence of the Imam Sahib. For the past few days, Muazzin Sahib is on leave and this boy stands to conduct Namaz in the absence of the Imam Sahib and says that it was the order of the Qari Sahib. What Qari Sahib says is that he knows that the boy is Baligh (reached the age of adulthood) and is a Hafiz whereas there is not even a hair of moustache or beard in the face of the boy. And there are people of 60 -70 years of age among those who stand behind him. When Qari Sahib was told to ask the boy to bring forward and elderly person for Fardh Namaz he said that he didn’t have confidence in Namaz of any of the follwers and asked the followers not to talk about the mosque matters or else to find a some other mosque whereas there are no other mosques connected to the Deobandi sect in the close proximity. The name of the Mosque is Imamul Anbiya which is situated in Gulisthan Jowher Block No 3. The incident is fresh and the boy could be seen and verified. Jazakallah

Ruling of attaining puberty/adolescence is not in connection with the appearance of beard or moustache but on account of wet dream(nocturnal emission). Appearance of bearad is a sign of it. However, if the concerned youth is in fact sane and reached adulthood, although it is permissible according to Shari’a to perform Salath following , yet it is not free from detestation. Therefore rather than spoiling the environment of the locality by giving wayward answers the referred Imam Sahib should provide opportunity to a religious person, who, is aware of the rules of the Salath and, also performs Salath properly to conduct the Imamath so that an important Ibadath such as Salath could be performed without any disputes or detestation.
