Dear Scholar,Asalam Alaykum, what is the Islamic view of ‘Surrogate Motherhood” Is married couple allowed to use this procedure to have a child. I will be very thankful for reply.

In the said method the blood clot that is created through the mixing of sperms of husband and wife is entered into the borrowed womb of a strange woman for further growth, which is quite unnatural and impermissible and Haram in Shari’a. Therefore it is essential to abstain from having children by this method.
